About Sean

Born and raised in South Africa, I moved to the United States at the age of twenty to pursue higher education. Today, I am a proud father to my son, Finlee, and husband to my wonderful wife, Casaundra.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2004 and graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2009. During my time at the University of Denver, I was elected Managing Editor of the Denver Journal of International Law and won a writing competition that granted me the opportunity to attend the prestigious Hague Academy of International Law in the Netherlands. Additionally, I was entrusted to author two chapters in the highly regarded legal treatise The Law of Transnational Business Transactions, covering corporate social responsibility and foreign direct investment in a global context.

It wasn’t until after graduating that I found my true professional calling: representing individuals and small businesses seeking justice in a system that often feels stacked against them.

I am licensed to practice law in Colorado (in both state and federal courts) and have extensive experience representing plaintiffs and defendants across a range of cases, including personal injury, insurance claims and disputes, construction defect litigation, and commercial disputes. As a former defense attorney and coverage counsel for several insurance companies, I also have an insider’s understanding of how insurance companies operate and handle claims.

I currently serve as a board member of The Ved Nanda Centre for International and Comparative Law at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.

I am deeply passionate about using my background and ideas to help individuals and small businesses efficiently solve their legal problems.

Meaningful Relationships

As an attorney, I firmly believe that effective representation starts with building strong, meaningful relationships with each of my clients. This approach allows me to tailor my legal strategy to meet the specific needs of every individual I represent.
